Hello, my name is Mickey Müller.

Welcome to our world of colors and coloring books.

Sport & painting, yoga & Ayurveda, Buddhist mindfulness & meditation and founding and running my own book publishing company are in short the greatest interests and passions in my life.

I was born in Stuttgart in 1973 and am therefore a true Swabian. Of course, as a child, like all boys, I learned to play football on the football field, which developed into a 13-year-old passion, and quite professionally. I later switched to triathlon and completed my first Ironman in Austria at the age of 26.

A very nice way to balance my free time has always been painting - especially drawing everything I liked and then coloring it in colorfully with wooden pencils and felt-tip pens.

However, what always fascinated me, whether in sports or painting, was the mental calm through concentration. At the age of 22 I discovered yoga and Ayurveda. Interest quickly grew, numerous years of training and various trips abroad followed, among other things to complete training as a yoga teacher (500 YTTC) and Ayurveda therapist in Kerala/India.

When I was too early for a meditation trip to the Himalayas because of the climate to be able to go to the high mountains, I decided to first travel to Sri Lanka for a month to vacation on the beautiful sandy beaches. This trip turned into a year-long monastery stay in a Buddhist forest monastery!

This was followed by several years of Buddhist instruction in Vipassana meditation and mindfulness training with local meditation masters in forest monasteries and meditation centers in Sri Lanka and Myanmar.

I have been based in Nuremberg since 2021 and have founded a book publisher to bring the aspects of mindfulness and concentration to the outside world through different books, for example in the form of coloring books for children or mandala and coloring books for young people and adults.

My other concern is publishing books on the subject of Buddhist mindfulness and meditation. These are intended to provide a practical introduction to Buddhist mindfulness training as it is currently taught and practiced in forest monasteries in Asia by nuns and monks of the Theravada school.

Immerse yourself in the fascinating world of mental peace, whether by painting or through meditation, and enjoy the moments of inner silence and serenity.

Kind regards,

Mickey Müller
